*** BEWARE*** DO NOT GO HERE FOR A REGULAR SPECIALIST OFFICE VISIT !!!*** Our daughter has Femoral Anteversion and needs to see a Pediatric Orthopedist annually for a physical evaluation. We saw Dr. Brar, who looked at my daughter for 15 minutes and prescribed physical therapy, so the appointment was about a total of 25 minutes. We were charged $415.35 for maybe 30 minutes of this doctor's time!!! According to my insurance the $50 specialist co-pay doesn't apply because Dr. Brar is affiliated with UCSF Children's Hospital, which means they are charging you for regular office visits as outpatient procedures(There was absolutely no procedure done). I've never had this happen when seeing a specialist and am disgusted that they can get away with charging something like this!! Save yourself the financial burden and stay far away!!
