This by far the best station in the entire system. The staff is very friendly. There is a lot of parking and a small store for your convenience.
This station was recently retrofitted, so there is ample lighting, etc..
Yes, this is a 5 star BART station. Every time I've gone, the bathrooms have been clean. There is greenery across the street, which makes one want to hang out. There are food truck days to taste different cuisine. The bus depot is self contained and easy to navigate through (the signage is clear). There is a store on bottom of the platform - you can buy pizza, quench your thirst, or enjoy a light snack. This station is centrally located. If you're ambitious you can even walk downtown. There are trails and other parks nearby. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The only con - congested. This station's parking garage fills up rather quickly.
Safe and walkable at night. This station is very clean and you totally would feel safe walking at night.
If you are traveling to San Francisco for work this station is the best to commute from. This station has the most motorcycle parking that I know of. The "express train" stops here.
My commuting station. Clean, organized, and crowded. Parking free only at weekends or holidays. A lot bike parking lots can be found as well. With transit village you can eat or buy coffee nearby. Pretty convenient!
