I really like the food, but when I order togo, I seem to have very bad luck... they commit to 20-25 minutes and Im still waiting after 50 minutes
The food was good but the pizza took over 1 hour. It was not that crowded. They were nice.
Young dude waiter was awesome. Get job on getting new staff from a year ago. We stopped going because of them. Great staff now. Great food as always.
The gluten free crust is not good. It's basically a cracker (I have had some great gluten free pizza crusts and breads elsewhere). "Minestrone" soup is loaded with pork, which they should mention on the menu or when you order it. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we were not impressed with the quality for the price.
I only had 15 minutes so as soon as I got to the hostess I told her I only had 15 minutes and asked if I could get a quick salad. A guy immediately walked up and said “follow me”. He seated me right away, mentioned that they could do soup or a slice of pizza really fast too, and said I could do a combo (soup/salad, salad/slice, or soup/slice). I went with the soup/salad, and sat down to check emails. Less than a minute later a waitress came out with soup/salad and the check. Soup was hot, salad was fresh, everything tasted good. Service was awesome. Everyone was smiling and friendly. Well done Walnut Creek Mary’s!
