Pretty awesome Library, I used to go here all the time to do homework as a kid and hated the place with its weird smell and 70's decor and orange carpet. The place is a relic. Still a good library that had great computer access and also really good movie rental materials and displays to look at.
It's not a bad library by any means, but I feel like this library caters more to children than anyone else. Like all CCC libraries, the Wi-fi is quite slow by todays standards. Good luck watching Lecture videos for Grad/Undergrad coursework if you are in school, or watching a pre-recorded seminar of sorts.
At times, the library can be a bit noisy (can't really blame librarians for that, parents need to teach their kids discipline). There are not many seats compared to Clayton Library, Lafayette Library, and Orinda library to settle down and get some work or studying done.
Helpful staff. Not so many books though.
love browsing books, reservations are free and can transfer from other libraries. Used books for sale, and accept book donations.
Wonderful programs for toddlers run by dedicated and gifted staff who understand toddlers. They plan fun activities regularly and for special occasions for neighborhood families, and all for free!
