If you're looking for high quality, natural foods at fantastic prices, look no further. Imagine whole foods, but at a fraction of the cost. They've got some of the freshest produce available. If you've got one in your neighborhood, why are you shopping anywhere else?
Prices are very high (but I live at Trader Joes so my pricing is skewed a bit) but I go here b/c it is the closest to me or when I need a specialty item. Their meat counter is great, good service. Never buy strawberries here, I have bought them multiple times and they never last or are even moldy when I get them home, must be the way they store them.
This is a very nice market. I loved their heirloom vegetables and wide selection of meats.
The last of the Mohicans! This grocery store has an excellent Quality brand products and meat counter. For example I went to five major grocery stores to find Del Monte process peaches the only brand that I have found that come close to tastes like a real peach. None of them carried the large glass jars and only one store chain carried Single-serving plastic container. Another item I enjoyed was the "Simply" brand name southwestern hash-browns potatoes.
If we ever think about moving the first thing we worry about is getting farther away from Lunardi's market. The butcher counter is a treat, with a friendly staff of expert butchers to handover exactly the cut of meat you want. First class produce. Great selection of ethnic ingredients, canned goods, baking supplies, etc.
