Wow- great sandwiches every time - have been here several times over the past few years. Their pastries are absolutely beautiful!
I have not been here in a while, however, always liked this place. Completely agree with Tom A - it feels that "younger employees" are there because they have to.... A bit of personal touch would go a long way.
Like the Pecan Bars they bake during Thanksgiving. Don't like how they treat/under appreciate their counter employees. I've tried to tip the student staffed counter help and was told that the Owner will not allow them to accept tips & they can't have a tip jar! I asked why this was and was confidentially told that the owner wants the customers to focus on buying product...

Affordable hearty breakfasts (egg sandwiches) and lunches (salads, soups, and sandwiches). The cafes are best known for the bakery. The location across from Target is great for a quiet business lunch or coffee date. The location across from Heather Farms is a nice place to meet friends. With indoor / outdoor seating, both locations are dog-friendly.
Absolutely can NOT get enough. My family has been frequenting this shop since I was a child. Folks miss a lot of things about "home" when they're abroad for study, work or a long visit. I never realize how much I miss my home until I come here.
My birthday cake every year? Spicy, moist carrot cake with just enough frosting for every single bite. My treat with an award or achievement? An Eclair. Marvelous. Not those dry whipped cream filled cardboard things with waxy brown film on top. The REAL deal. A special afternoon off at the park with my hardworking mom or dad? Vegetarian sandwich on Sweet Corn with a White Chocolate cookie. Or... Italian with the Milk Chocolate Walnut cookie.... or.. Try them all.
